How to get to Scarborough 

Scarborough is located North East coast of England and it is approximately 50 minutes away from York to which it links to with frequent services.

Planning your journey and finding your way to Scarborough is straightforward no matter where you are coming from or what your mode of transport. 

There are ample car parking spaces available and if your staying for more then one day why not buy a period ticket, available in advance for between two and seven days!

BY ROAD

Scarborough can be reached by road nationally from the A1/ M1 which both run close to Leeds in West Yorkshire.  The A64 from Leeds then runs directly to Scarborough.

 

BY RAIL

Travelling to Scarborough by train is easy. The Grand Central and East Coast are running frequent services from London and Edinburgh to York where you can catch a good many 50min services directly to Scarborough.

First Transpennine Express provides direct services from Manchester, Leeds and the West Yorkshire.
